How to set up your Zap

Search for "cloudlayer" in the Zapier app directory and add it to your Zap as an action step. Authenticate with your cloudlayer.io API key, then choose whether to generate a PDF or an image.

Map fields from your trigger app directly to cloudlayer.io template variables. A customer name from your CRM becomes {{customerName}} in your template. Zapier handles the data mapping visually — no JSON formatting required.

Add a follow-up action to deliver the generated document: email it via Gmail, save to Google Drive, post to Slack, or pass it to any of Zapier's 5,000+ connected apps.
